TCGS #26 - Monologues Only

A lot people accuse our show of not being a real late night show. So, we decided to take their accusations head on and do the most “late night talk show” thing we could possibly imagine: Monologue jokes— an entire hour’s worth. Our audience sent in hundreds of jokes and we forced Chris to perform them unrehearsed in the style of a more traditional late night host. If Chris performed enough jokes correctly he would be rewarded. Likewise if he messed up enough jokes he would be punished. The awkwardness of the night was only balanced by our ridiculously cool musical guest Kevin Devine. Definitely a night to remember. By minute 50 I was sitting in the booth making up jokes and typing feverishly on the teleprompter. I was laughing so hard tears were streaming down my face. I love being apart of this show.
